First English version of an alternate take on *Hashire Melos*, one of two made in 1979. The first was episode nineteen of the cartoon series *Heart of the Red Bird*. The second was this stand-alone short movie, made by the educational media firm Gakken. It's a simplified and condensed children's version, without much to recommend it beyond its rarity.
